SYNOPSIS

The story revolves around the unique manhunt for Jack Unter-weger, an Austrian convicted murderer and alleged serial kil-ler who was suspected of multiple prostitute murders in both Europe and the United States. Unterweger gained significant international attention because, after serving a 15-year prison sentence for the murder of 18-year-old Margret Schäfer in 1974, he was released on parole in May 1990 and achieved fame and recognition as a writer and a successful case of re-habilitation before falling under suspicion for the serial killings of prostitutes.
